Laganas - Clubbers Paradise

Laganas is the big clubbing resort on the island, its been on the 18-30's club list for some time now, so expect lots of great nightclubs and bars offering cheap drinks and plenty of action.

The clubbing guide offers you the best clubs to visit while you are staying in Laganas and the best bars to visit to get a good deal.

Music ranges from dance music, to hip hop , RnB, funky house, trance music right the way down to karaoke bars and 60's, 70's and 80's bars. There are now a couple of indie music only bars that have found their way into Laganas and are very popular and well worth a try.

Drink offers range from 2 for 1 on most drinks, this is every night, plus free shots. Closing times are about 4 in the morning with some open till 6 am and some 24 hours.

Top clubs to visit in Laganas

Probably the best known club in Laganas is Rescue Club, it holds about 1200 people and has some amazingly talented bar staff, doing juggling, fire shows and much much more. The resident DJs play a mix of trance, dance, funky house and everything in between.

Rescue club is part of Laganas history and no visit to Laganas would be complete without going there at least one night of your holiday. They have some big name DJs this year including Dave Pearce playing live and Hed Kandi. Choosing to go clubbing in Zante this year is definitely a wise choice!

One of the clubs to come to the forefront of Laganas nightlife is Cocktails and Dreams, with excellent dance and funky house music and some amazing shot cocktails. The bar itself is based on that classic movie Cocktail but with a range of 50 different cocktails you will have a great night out here.

A recent addition to the club scene is Plus bar and club, the interior is like that of any modern club in London, Paris or Berlin, the drinks are cheap and the bar staff friendly and helpful. Another very popular bar is Medousa bar in Laganas offering a bar but also nightclub to dance the night away in. Plays a random mix of the latest chart tracks with resident DJ’s.Its usually free entrance to this bar, and of course most bars and clubs in Laganas but be aware there may be times when they have guest DJ’s and may charge a euro or two.

Daytime chill out in Laganas

Laganas has to be the best known resort in Zante and its has a great sandy beach running right through it, at approximately 9 km long it is thought to be one of the longest beaches in Greece.

There are very limited watersports available in Zante and Laganas is no exception, the beach in some parts is protected for the Loggerhead turtles that come to nest on the island every year.

A wide selection of beach bars, Taverna's and refreshments are available here and the resort is just a short walk away. This is a really accessible beach with parking available on the beachfront and also on the main high street.
